Before Corient, our founding team held senior leadership positions at some of the world’s most established financial institutions. From the outside, it looked like success. From the inside, it felt like a closed door.
Large corporations had access to advanced technology, automation, and intelligent systems that made them faster, smarter, and more profitable. Meanwhile, small and medium businesses were buried under spreadsheets and inefficient processes, doing more with less and never quite catching up.

So, our founding team made a decision that was equal parts bold and uncertain. They walked away from secure corporate careers, not out of frustration, but out of belief. Belief that small businesses deserved the same tools, intelligence, and quality of support that multinationals took for granted.

Four people. Two offices, Mumbai and Coventry. A shared conviction that the world's small businesses deserved better. We started with little more than clarity of purpose and the courage to act on it.
We expanded to a 30-seat office and earned our first major partnership, working with a leading e-payment company to enable seamless remittance for one of the world's top 10 banks. Trust earned, one client at a time.
A new office. Over 100 SME clients. And our first in-house technology, CRM Exult and Task Manager Pecten, built not because it was easy, but because our clients deserved tools designed specifically for them.
We extended our accounting services to Indian, American, and Irish clients and introduced Robotics and Analytics capabilities. Industry recognition followed, with nominations for the British Accountancy and Midland Finance Awards in consecutive years.
We built Xinowa, our proprietary Xero chatbot, bringing conversational intelligence to accounting workflows. We registered our presence in the USA, and our work was formally recognised as we were named among the Top 10 Outsourcing Service Providers in Finance & Accounting in India.
When the world contracted, we expanded. We made a commitment: not a single person would lose their job to COVID-19. We kept that promise. We created over 100 new roles during the pandemic, grew to 400+ employees, opened our Jaipur office, and were nominated for the Accountancy Excellence Award.
Our most ambitious chapter yet. We launched a suite of in-house software, Corby, Billy, Sherlock, and more. In 2024, we built AI-ready tools that bring Artificial Intelligence, Technology, Processes, and People together into one seamless ecosystem. We grew to 600+ expert accountants.
